Merry Christmas!

I have an ATM that will sit in my queue for the nest 13 hours but I'd rather cancel it if it has no chance of success.

Has anyone seen a previous fail like that succeed in a subsequent run?
Thanks

Yes, a task that "failed 5 times" on another computer may finish successfully on yours.
For example, this task http://www.gpugrid.net/workunit.php?wuid=30440334 returned this error on 2 hosts and finished successfully on the third one.

Hey, thanks! I got busy and kept it; we'll give it a shot in less than an hour.

A task gets 8 chances to be completed successfully before it gets retired. I have had several squeak in at the last minute as _7 wingman.

Smile. https://www.gpugrid.net/workunit.php?wuid=30502788 did just process.

I wouldn't think that an RTX 30X0 with a ton of memory would be that much different than my 4060 laptop running at 2510 mhz

I'm thankful when I get anything these days.

I always have work. I only keep two tasks in my cache so I get a replacement every time I turn one in.

All you have to do is run a update script every 15 minutes in the client for the project.

I do that for all my projects. Unless a project is truly out of work or is having issues with generation or storage constraints, I get work.
